Come, give me your hand !
मंडळी, खूप खूप वर्षांपूर्वी प्रो. कस्तुरींची एक कविता किंवा व्याख्यान ऐकले होते. त्यांचा गोषवारा मी कुठेतरी लिहून ठेवला होता. तोच मजकूर त्यांचेच शब्दात मांडायचा हा प्रयत्न आहे. सर्वच मुद्दे त्यांनी लिहिले-बोलले असल्याने I plead being non-guilty !
“Come, give me your hand !”
Come, give me your hand and we will climb up together, step by step, up and up and up ! But we must first throw away all the cluttered junk and trash amassed thus far. Less luggage makes the journey safe and comfortable ! And what’s that cluttered junk ? It’s all that is ‘non-self’, in fact everything beyond ‘me and mine’. Is it easy to do so ? Not impossible either, because many have achieved that.
It is said, ‘सत्संगत्वे नि:संगत्वं’ and that’s why I crave your hand, you the noble ones, you you and everyone of you ! I do not know myself but am pretty sure of you being noblest of the noble. Why and what makes you noble ? In fact there is no need to make anyone so because one is born noble. All that one must strive to do is to abandon everything that’s not yours. We often parade us being so and so. No, we are what the Almighty Lord desired of us, Noble Saintly, indeed God Itself. Then, how would one hate, judge and ridicule ? The Lord is Prema-Swaroopa and so are we too. Remember His Dictum - Help Ever, Hurt Never and Love All, Serve All !
